‼️ We are aware of the fire just off of the common‼️
The fire brigade are on the scene and are doing everything they can to extinguish the flames.
We are hopeful that this won’t spread to the common and know that the services will do everything in their power to ensure the safety of all.
We of course, hope that everyone remains safe and well.

🔥🔥 Hot Hot Hot 🔥🔥
The cows are feeling it today! Luckily they are super sensible and are staying in the shady areas. 🙏🐄
Please be like the cattle and stay cool. We love the heat but it can be a danger to some!

🌿 Help us protect our beautiful open spaces
The Town & Manor is proud to care for some of Hungerford’s most treasured green spaces, including The Common and Freeman’s Marsh. These areas are there for everyone to enjoy, and we want to keep them that way.
If you see anything that you feel is causing damage, putting wildlife at risk, or misusing these spaces, we’d really appreciate you letting us know. This could include things such as illegal fires or barbecues, fly-tipping, vandalism, vehicles where they shouldn’t be, damage to fences or gates, or any other activity that threatens these special places.
If it’s safe to do so, please send us a private message with the location!
Your reports help us act quickly and protect these wonderful spaces for wildlife, livestock and everyone who enjoys them.
Thank you for helping us look after the land we all share. 💚

🏆 Presentation of the Constable’s Trophy 🏆
Last night, Constable Philip Porter was incredibly proud to be invited to the John O’Gaunt School’s Night of the Stars celebration to present the Constable’s Trophy.
Congratulations to this year’s worthy recipient, Alexis R, on this fantastic achievement. It was a privilege to recognise such well-deserved success.
The evening was a tremendous success, with the celebrations taking place in a magnificent marquee and bringing together students, families and staff for a truly memorable occasion.
A huge thank you to everyone at John O’Gaunt School for the warm welcome and for hosting such a special event celebrating the achievements of its students.
