Trustee Election Results

We are pleased to announce the results of our recent Trustee election, which took place on Friday 23rd May 2025.

There were five Trustee positions available, and we would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who took the time to vote and support the governance of the Town and Manor of Hungerford and Liberty of Sanden Fee.

The following candidates received the highest number of votes and have been elected:

  1. Jonathan William Welfare – 139 votes
  2. Christopher Charles Scorey – 122 votes
  3. Peter Joseph – 113 votes
  4. Stella Coulthurst – 106 votes
  5. Timothy Philip Lyth Badgett – 73 votes

Julian Pole Winser received 67 votes.

We would like to congratulate our newly elected Trustees and thank all of the candidates who stood for election. Their willingness to serve reflects a continued commitment to our community and its traditions.

These Trustees will now join our board in overseeing the management of our responsibilities, including our historic lands, charitable activities, and the preservation of local customs that are central to the identity of Hungerford.

Well, that’s it for 2025. The Hungerford Graziers’ cattle have left us for another year as these wonderful animals head back to the farm for winter.
