Queen Elizabeth II

Queen Elizabeth II April 21, 1926 – September 8, 2022

The Constable and everyone at the Town and Manor extend our deepest condolences to the Royal Family at this very sad time.

Our beloved Queen for more than 70 years, and the country’s longest reigning monarch, Her Majesty The Queen sadly passed away on 8.9.22.

Having dedicated her life to the service of Great Britain and the wider Commonwealth, her unwavering wisdom, compassion and understanding marked her 70-year reign. As did her enjoyment of life, warmth, compassion and sense of humour.

We thank Her Majesty for her many decades of loyal service.

To mark our respect, flags will be flown at half-mast until 8am on the morning following the funeral.

A Book of Condolence will be opened and made available in the foyer of the Town Hall between 9am and 6pm Monday to Friday, until 6pm on the day following the funeral. Floral tributes may be left on the balcony of the Town Hall steps.

With sadness, the Town and Manor of Hungerford and the Liberty of Sanden Fee
