Peter Joseph was the Constable with Nina Hathway and Sylviene Giuliani as the Tithingmen.
Aaron Scarlet carried out the role of Orangeman for the first time. Aaron is the third Scarlett to hold this role, Dicky “Squab” Scarlett held the role c1928 to 1967, Bob Lewington and then Paul Lewington carried out the role for some 48 years between them.
This was the first year that Hocktide took place properly since the Covid 19 pandemic and numbers to the lunch were greatly reduced.
Philip Porter should have been the ale taster with Sarah Jackson but contracted Covid and was unable to carry out the role despite having done the planning. Bruce Mayhew stepped in to cover for Philip and Fiona Hobson had also contracted covid but managed to dress the Tutti Poles on the Monday but then missed all the other activities.
The Tutti Girls were: Matilda Hopkins, Naomi Fox-Shatford and Rosie Gregory.
