As many of you noticed… our clock had lost its chime. A sad day for all! No one likes a clock without a chime... especially at Christmas 😱
One of our wonderful trustees, Alistair Fyfe, came to the rescue, raced to the top to have a quiet word and give the chiming mechanism a ‘you can do it’ pep talk.
It seems to have worked as it’s back chiming like a good clock should.
Alistair Fyfe has become our very own superhero 🦸! The other option was calling in the ‘guys’ from Derby and that would have meant - a quiet town clock for Christmas and New Year! 🥴
Thank you to all who pointed out that our chime had been lost!

Some sad news from us today.
Anthony Buckwell was a trustee of The Town & Manor for many a year.
His family have passed on the very sad news that Anthony passed away on November 11th, peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones.
We will all miss seeing Anthony around Hungerford and would like to use this opportunity to send our condolences to his friends and family.

⭐️Nativity Time⭐️
The children of Hungerford Primary School were kind enough to invite Julie Lloyd, the Constable of The Town & Manor to watch their nativity, Higgledy Piggledy Nativity.
Julie would like to thank the children and staff of the primary school. It was apparently the best she has ever seen!
Well done HPS🎉
