Paul Lewington was the Orangeman. This was to be the last year that Paul carried out the role he had held for 23 years as he sadly passed away suddenly in March 2017.

Highways have closed the road from The Downgate, over the common, through lower Denford along to the A4.
After speaking with the contractors, they are resurfacing the top layer of the road.
We expect the road to be closed for the majority of the day.
