Hocktide 2011 – 3rd May
Greg Furr was the Constable with Ben Blake and Jim Scarlett as the Tithingmen.
Paul Lewington was the Orangeman. As Hocktide was so late in the year, the Tuttipoles had yellow chrysanthemums instead of the usual daffodils.
Robin Tubb was Bellman for, as we know now, the last time this year.
The Arcade put together their usual high standard of window dressing for Hocktide, and included oranges, pennies, horseshoes along with ribbons in the town colours of azure and argent (blue and silver).
