The tithingmen this year were Steve Hodges and Christopher Irby. Orangeman was Paul Lewington and Robin Tubb did his duty as Bellman and Assistant Bailiff
Berkshires Local Nature Recovery Strategy workshop was held in the Corn Exchange at The Town Hall last Tuesday.
The wonderful team at ARK gave an amazing presentation on the work that they have been doing lately. We had had representatives talk about the new Wetland project that we hope will be kicking off later this year.
So much amazing information in such little time!

We are aware that number 50 is struggling. She is physically ok but has probably eaten something unpleasant.
Number 41 has a bad left rear hoof. We are monitoring her and will round her up for a jab if she does not recover in a day or two.
She has probably got some broken glass in the hoof. We shall keep an eye on her.
Please please remember that the cows are on the common for a while. Please take EVERYTHING you take on to the common home.

🐄🐄 The Cows Are Back 🐄🐄
Please take extra care over the coming weeks and months whilst the wonderful cows arrive back on to the common!
These are young cows and haven't seen moving bits of metal on wheels before - therefore, please do not expect them to move immediately or understand that vehicles can be dangerous to them.
We've put up new signs. We really don't want any cows to be harmed this year. Please take notice of the signs.

From the evening of Ale Tasting🍻, to a wonderful Tutti Day 🌼and then on to the Constable Sunday Service where the wonderful town band led us to St. Lawrence’s Church🎺.
