Lovely. Very diligent mother. She was kicking up the stones and mud near the bench for the youngsters to find larvae and snails. One of the cygnets is very vocal and curious of humans. Please remember dogs and swans don't mix. Wild bird seeds, floating duck and swan pellets are available from Howard's Pet shop and the Wednesday market. Avoid giving bread if you can, it is not close to their natural diet.
🦢🦋🐝 It’s Wild About Wildlife Month 🐝🦋🦢
What an amazing month to be in Hungerford. The wildlife we have just on our doorstep is magnificent.
These photos were taken from around the Town & Manor Estate. Just look at what we can see when we stop and watch.
Have you seen anything out there recently that has caught your eye?
Add your photos to the comments below.
Talking of photos- many of the below were taken by Darren Prestoe!

Serious post we’re afraid…
If you think you’ve hit one of the cows on Hungerford Common PLEASE report it.
Call the Hayward on 07467 826499 or call 101.
On Saturday night, one of the cows was hit by a car. Had it been reported the vet would immediately have been involved and stopped her suffering.
She slowly died from severe internal injuries, on the common on Sunday morning.
Please take responsibility for your actions. This could easily have been someone walking home from a party.

Thank you to everyone who has sent us messages and commented. We would like to reassure you that we have been talking with other ‘common lands’ in regard to potential ways to keep the cows safer. For now and in the meantime, our message stays the same - please please report anything you may see, or accidentally be part of. Thank you all!
Only a person without a heart would leave an animal to suffer.
How awful that poor cow suffering in terrible pain all night how could anybody do that absolutely heartbreaking 😢
So the people who drive these modern cars with headlights that blind other drivers can't see something in the road, what about the Town & Manor in investing in Hi Viz collars for the cattle.
This is horrible to read :( people drive too fast through the common :(
How sad, what's wrong with people!!!
Shocking behaviour! Sorry to hear this - maybe speed bumps are needed?
That's terrible too many heartless people around.
Awww this is heartbreaking 😭😢. That poor cow. Some idiot overtook me on the common the other day, people are so heartless and idiotic. No one is in that much of rush u need to risk hurting an innocent animal
Heartless selfish person poor cow
Need speed bumps with not a lot of distance between them along common road
🎉🎉 Oyez, oyez, oyez 🎉🎉
It's July 8th - which means only one thing...
What's that I hear you cry? The morning after England won on penalties? NO... it is...
International Town Crier Day!!
So - here we are are, a day to celebrate our wonderful Town Crier - Julian Tubb!
Historically town criers – or Bellmen as they were sometimes called – were the original newsmen. The first town criers were the Spartan Runners in the early Greek Empire and as the Roman Conquest spread through Europe the position increased in importance until it became a position of th#hungerfordH#berkshire##TownCrier##TownCriersDayn#internationaltowncriersdayn#bellmany#townandmanorw#townhall #hungerfordtownhallrdTownHall

Looking good young man !
Kevin Bushnell .
If you follow this to the letter you won't have to pay council tax Ok firstly go to CORRECT THE UNLAWFUL LEGAL SYSTEM on face book and go into the pinned posts section, download Baron David Wards Affidavit and take some time to read it thoroughly, also the Affidavit Starter Kit and the FAQs. Once you have read the Affidavit etc and you understand the facts and the importance of those facts you will find yourself in a much better position to challenge this false claimant. It is important to note that the representatives of these companies ie., HM Parliaments and Governments PLC/HMCTS, The Police, DVLA, Council, Energy Companies, Enforcement Agents etc, do not have the Legal Authority to make demands in the first place nevermind give you a deadline, so there is no need to rush to conform to their time frame; get to know the facts first so you can do things properly, learn how to present the claimant with a formal challenge, this way you can set your own time frame to which the claimant will have an obligation to perform under. It doesn't matter whether it's Police, their so called "courts", Enforcement Agents, Council Tax, Local Authority, Gas, Electric, Water, the claim is always the same, and that claim is that you have formally and legally consented to be governed by the representatives of HM Parliaments and Governments PLC by signing in wet ink the "Consent of the governed" or by formally and legally transferring your power of Attorney, which is the only way you can be represented/governed because we are governed BY consent. We use one legal maxim in fact "He or she who makes a claim bears the burden of proof and carries the obligation to provide the material evidence to support that claim"- in other words the representative (named individual/CEO or director of the Company) is the Claimant and must fulfil their obligation BY presenting the material substance of their claims, otherwise those claims are fraudulent in nature and therefore, become Chargeable criminal offences. We create the charges in our paperwork (Commercial Lien) which the claimant agrees to by their own silence (their rules) to stand as surety for Commercial Charges, the Lien is then published and put out there in the Public domain.
