We are pleased to announce the results of our recent Trustee election, which took place on Friday 23rd May 2025.
It’s that time of year again! One of the duties of the charity, The Town and Manor of Hungerford and Liberty of Sanden Fee’ is to maintain the ancient traditions associated with Commoners’ Rights.
On June 27th, 28th & 29th, a Hungerford Town Council led committee and Commemorative Convoys organised the most fantastic weekend to commemorate D-Day80.

We are aware that this means that the common will be far busier than usual.
Please drive slowly and be mindful of the cattle that are grazing. They are often in the middle of the road. With the increase in traffic, swerving may not be as easy as you think! 🐄

🐄 COW HELP…. PLEASE!🐄
So… remember those cows that went walkabouts a couple of weeks ago?
We still have one cheeky one - out on the loose!
A Belgian blue cow, escaped from Eddington Marsh (Hungerford) along with 5 others. The 5 have been recaptured.
If anyone sees or hears of its whereabouts, please call 07768 255831.
A what 3 words reference would be very helpful.
The 5 were caught just to the north of Chilton Foliat so it is likely the missing animal will be in that area.
